Biographie
Thomas ANDRO is Corporate Global Sustainability Director at Firmenich the world’s largest privately-owned fragrance and taste company. In this role, Thomas contribute with his team to the design and implementation of a cohesive and impact driven sustainability strategy called Pathways to Positive. In 2022, Firmenich has received the highest Platinum rating for environmental and social performance from EcoVadis for the second consecutive time with a score of 88/100 and has been awarded a fourth consecutive Triple “A” by CDP. Prior to joining Firmenich, Thomas spent 14 years at Solvay, a world leader in sustainable chemistry. In his last role, Thomas served as Head of Solvay Way, the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, and Head of One Planet Better Life activities. Thomas holds a master's degree in management from the Bordeaux Business School as well as the ICADE Business School in Madrid. In addition, he is an alumni of the Leadership Program of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Thomas has been a founding member of CSR Europe's Biodiversity Platform and has served on various organizations related to Sustainable Business such as the Roundtable for Product Social Metrics. Thomas is engaged in the BCorp journey and is BLeader. Finally, Thomas is a lecturer on sustainable development management at various universities such as Université Catholique de Lyon, INSA and Kedge Business School.
